Allana played with Australia at Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries caused her to be absent for a few seasons, before she switched to the Rugby League. The first time Allana played in a rugby league game for women was in 2015. She played well against Queensland and represented New South Wales. Allana has added radio into her arsenal, making regular appearances with the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana has a full teaching certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three different sports including rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also rugby union.
